The Dolls House cottage is in Villanueva del Trabuco, an attractive
town in a fertile valley with a backdrop of imposing mountains, about
50 kilometres inland from Malaga.
It is ideally situated for visiting the great cities of Andalucia,
being less than an hours drive to Granada and under two hours to Cordoba
and Sevilla.
The cottage has two bedrooms, a lounge with a double sofabed, a
diningroom, small kitchen and two bathrooms. There are spectacular
views over the town from the upstairs balconies and from the terrace.
The town has a pleasant square, a reasonable selection of shops and
a number of bars and restaurants.
Archidona ( 10 kms ) has more shops and Antequera ( 20 kms ) is a
major shopping centre. The surrounding countryside is excellent for
cycling or walking in the clean mountain air. Villanueva del Trabuco
is only four kilometres from the motorway network, with the coast
just 50 kms away and easy drives to Granada ( 60 kms, ) with its beautiful
Alhambra Palace, and Cordoba ( 120 kms,) which features a wealth of
historic buildings.
