Description
Richard & Sarah at Casa del Sole offer a unique farm holiday experience
in a beautiful and central part of Tuscany. The Barn Conversion
complements the existing accommodation of
The Farmhouse and The Chestnut House.
The idea of
Casa del Sole is to offer holidaymakers a quiet rural base from
which it is possible to see many of the 'tourist attractions'
or where you can spend your holiday on the farm soaking up the
secluded, calming atmosphere and spotting the wide range of wildlife
on your doorstep.
Forget about
your troubles - the view alone soothes the soul. Casa del Sole
is a working olive farm so you can expect to see Richard & Sarah
working hard in the vegetable garden or in the olive groves. With
the recent addition of sheep and the resident cats, dogs and chickens
Casa del Sole is great for children but you must be aware that
you may have a visit from a chicken in your kitchen or a sheep
at your front door - we find this endearing but if you are not
keen on animals then this might not be the place for you.
There is also
a steep walk up to the house from the car parking area of about
150 yards. Your luggage will be collected and delivered from your
car in our 'gator'. Richard and Sarah live on the farm and can
answer any queries you may have. If they are not available then
there is always an English spoken caretaker on hand to help out
with any problems.
The barn conversion
completed in February 2004 is now available to rent. The interior
is of the same traditional Tuscan design as the other two houses
and all original features have been preserved.
