La Tronconnais is a small hamlet, 10 minutes from the Medieval town of Malestroit, and situated by the village of Saint-Congard, running by the beautiful Nantes-Brest Canal in South Brittany (Morbihan). Featured on Channel 4's "A place in the Sun" in 2001, this traditional longere has 1 double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom and is set in ¼ acre of garden and orchard. Offering superb walking and sightseeing in the area, a short drive to the magnificent Southern Coastline or the inspiring megaliths of the region, you'll find your stay here to be an extremely pleasant and comfortable one. The nearby town of Malestroit offers plenty of opportunities to shop, with a lively and friendly market on Thursdays, and plenty of bars and cafes to sample the cuisine of the area. Of course there is also the Intermarche supermarket to get those essential supplies.

The house benefits from full central heating throughout, allowing rentals all year round in complete comfort. In the outbuilding, washing machine and freezing facilities are provided for use if needed. Duvets and pillows are provided, but we ask you to provide your own bed linen and towels.
